Q. What is included in my reservation:

A. In any reservation for any Luxury villa at Sunset Estates, we offer the following inclusions:

• Airport Pick-Up Service
• House keeping Services (2x per week)
• High Speed Wi-Fi Internet Connection
• Smart TV with Satellite TV Channels
• Bed Linen and Towels
• Toiletries
• Water and Electricity
• Access to the entire villa
• Villa Manager Services onsite (9am to 5pm)
• Access to our recommended Massage, Chef and Breakfast Services (Special Rates for our Guests, paid separately, directly to the supplier).

Q. I read online that you charge for electricity, is this still the case?

A. When we first began operations we, like most other villas on Koh Samui, had an additional charge for electricity. After listening to feedback from our guests we have since changed this policy. Unlimited electricity usage is now included free of charge.

 

Q. Are the villas suitable for disabled guests or those with limited mobility?

A. All of our villas are accessed have a private garage that connects directly to a private elevator, that accesses all floors of the villa. For those with limited mobility, our villas wont be an issue at all.

 

Q. Which of your villas have a sea view?

A. You’re in luck! All our villas have sprawling 180 degrees sea views from its own family large infinity pool. You can see the specific view from each villa on the individual villa pages.

 

Q. Can we cook in the villa?

A. Absolutely. All our villas have a fully-fitted kitchen and BBQ. If you’d like your fridge filled with fresh ingredients upon your arrival, please contact us prior to your stay.

 

Q. What is provided in the villa?

A. Our villas include bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, TV and audio equipment, basic toiletries, and games. For more specific details, or to make a specific request, please contact us before your stay.

 

Q. Do all Sunset Estates Villas have washing machines?

A. Most of our villas have washing machines. You can also have laundry sent out from the villa. For more details, please get in touch. If the villa you booked has a washing and dryer machines, and there are left over clothing soap, you will be able to wash and dry your clothes free of cost.

 

Q. Does each villa have a private pool? How big is it?

A. All our villas are  in the Family Large Infinity Pool. Pool size varies between villas but they are, on average, 10x4m. All pools are private, have infinity edges, and stunning sea views.

 

Q. Can you provide a baby cot and a high chair?

A. Baby cots and high chairs are available in all villas, free of charge. Please let us know prior to arrival if you require either.

 

Q. Do you provide breakfast?

A. Breakfast is not included but we recommend our Breakfast Delivery service from partners nearby. There are 6 Breakfast Sets, for all tastes, prices start at THB 250 per set. Please request a Menu, let us know your order the night before, and the time to be delivered, and it will get to your door right on time. It cannot be more convenient that that?

 

Q. How far from the beach are the villas?

A. We don’t have direct access to the beach. It is not too easy and cheap to find luxury villas with direct access to the beach, just FYI.  However, we are a walking distant from Thongson Beach. Thenb, and less than 5 min drive you have 2 amazing beaches: Samrong Beach and Choengmon Beach. Two of the most sublime beaches in Samui. Our team will assist with vehicles or taxis to get to these beaches.  

Choengmon beach, you can find a small town with various restaurants, small shops, several beach dining experiences with live music, rentals, bars, massage shops, etc.

Samrong Beach is a bit smaller but with a more quiet and clean feel with one Beach bar, soft sands and clean cristal clear waters.

Then, we are only 15 min drive from Chaweng, the main center on the island where you can find literally everything! Shops, Restaurants, big supermarkets, bars and nightclubs.   

We pick you up free of charges so, we recommend you to arrive, check-in and see it for yourself before committing to a hire car or scooters for the duration of your stay. Our team doesn’t require notice when it comes to hiring vehicles so you can decide whether to rent a vehicle or not during your stay.

 

 

Q. How far is Sunset Estates – Luxury Samui Villas are from the city centre?

A. We are very nearby two centres. We are 5 minutes driving from Choengmon village and 15 minutes drive from Chaweng beach. Choengmon villas have several shops, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, and convenience stores. It is a small village but you can find all you need. Chaweng beach is the biggest beach on the island and it has literally everything in terms of shops, bars, nightclubs, restaurants, markets, and so on.

 

Q. Do we need to hire a car or can we do everything by foot?

A. We pick you up free of charge so, we recommend you arrive, check-in and see it for yourself before committing to a hire car or scooters for the duration of your stay. Our team doesn’t require notice when it comes to hiring vehicles so you can decide whether to rent a vehicle or not during your stay. By foot, you can access the beach, a couple of restaurants, and one convenience store. In general, our guests either hire our motorbikes or use taxis. Taxis are not expensive, easy to grab (hailing on the streets or using the local app) and safe in Thailand. And, you will have assistance from your villa manager, to book taxis or rent car/scooter, every day from 9 am to 5 pm. And if you decide to hire a car or a motorbike, you just let the villa manager know and she will bring it to your villa immediately.

 

Q. How do I know which villa I booked? I am confused…

A. Here at Sunset Estates - Luxury Samui Villas, we present all our villas individually to the market, instead of villa categories. Even though all our villas are very similar, all our villas have individual photos (you just need to click on top of their name and you will see individual photos). It is a completely free choice of each guest to look at each individual villa and choose for themselves the best villa that suits them. We are not responsible for choosing which villa guests will stay. We do not move guests from one villa to another without their consent and that only happens when there is a technical problem in the villa. If you are not sure which villa you booked, please message us and we will let you know immediately.

 

Q. Do you offer transfer services?

A. We offer free one-way transfer to or from the airport, to or from Bangrak Pier, and to or from a few nearby locations on the island. Transfer to or from other piers, such as Nathon, Maenam, and other further places on the island, are charged separately. If you have doubt about it, email us and we will let you know immediately whether it is free or not. Please, once you have your flight number or boat schedule, inform us so we can schedule your transfer.

 

Q. Where exactly are you located?

A. In relation to our location, we are located in very quiet and peaceful side of the island, the northeast “peninsula” let’s say. We right next door neighbor with the Ritz Carlton Samui, and very nearby the Six Senses, Garrya Tongsai Bay, Samujana Villas, and other 5 stars properties.

Walking distance we have a Tops Daily Store where you can buy most of daily items. We don’t have direct access to the beach. It is not too easy and cheap to find luxury villas with direct access to the beach, just FYI.  But less than 5 min drive you have 2 amazing beaches: Samrong Beach and Choengmon Beach. Q. How to hire a private chef?

A. For our dedicated private chef services, dinner, BBQ, etc, we do not actually intermediate the hiring process. We only recommend our local Thai private chef partners. This way you´ll get the best price available. Closer to the arrival date you can request it to our team and we will send you a brochure where you can find their contact. You will be able to contact them directly to discuss prices, dates, menu, etc.

It is very simple: via message or email, you will tell them the date, which villa you are staying, what kind of food you wish to be cooked. The chef will give you a quotation and confirmation. Her name is K. Amie. If she does not work out for you, let me know and I will recommend a different one.

 

 

Q. How am I going to communicate with my Villa Manager during my stay?

A. We always create a WhatsApp group chat between guests and management team, so we have an open and direct communication channel, during the guest’s stay, and to organise a smooth check-in. You will also be able to order your breakfast, or for instance to book an activity, a taxi, massages, etc… 5 Days before arribal we will create this Group Chat. It can be via WhatsApp, Line or We chat.

Q. We have a large group, and there will be 2 different flights arriving. One in the morning and one in the evening. Can you pick up both flight free of charges?

A. The answer is we can pick you up for both flight, of course, BUT only one is for free. The other airport pick-up is charged at local regular price, without any profit or commissions. For a second Airport pick-up our Driver will charge THB 500.

 

 

Q. We were usually 6 people, but there is another person that wants to join. What to do? Do I have to pay extra?

A. It depends. For us as a business, mostly because of insurance and safety, we DO NOT allow to exceed each villa’s maximum capacity WITHOUT our consent. All to ensure you safety and above all, an incredible experience. Each villas has a different maximum capacity. Please check online, and if you are not sure, ask our team. THAT SAID, we are happy to be flexible and allow a couple of extra people to sleep, with extra single rollway beds, upon request. We can allow extra 2 single beds per  villa depending on the total number of people. Prices will be informed upon request.

 

Q. I booked a non refundable reservation but I cannot come. Can you refund?

A. As all business, as the name says itself, it is a non refundable reservation. IF you think you have a reasonable explanation for not coming, please email us at info@samuisunsets.com and we will analyse the possibility of a refund for a non refundable rate.

 

Q. I need Early Check-in. Can you allow that?

A. Normally we try to offer free, complimentary early check-in subject to availability. In order that to happen, your villa must be empty the day before you arrive. Also, it must be a non-busy period (all year except July, August and Major Holidays). Please get in touch and request your early check-in. We might be able to offer you free of charges.

 

 

Q. I need Late Check-out. Can you allow that?

A. Normally we try to offer free, complimentary late check-out subject to availability. In order that to happen, your villa must NOT have a family checking-in at the same date you check-out. Also, it must be a non-busy period (all year except July, August and Major Holidays). Please get in touch and request your late check-out. We might be able to offer you free of charges.

 

 

Q. My flight arrive very early, and you cannot offer early check-in. What to do?

A. If there is a family that will check-out on the same day you check-in, early check-in is not possible. So we do the following:   After we pick you up (free) from the airport, you can leave your luggage in our office and go for a swim, chill by the beach, or even go to Choengmon. As soon as they check-out at 12pm, we will work hard to try and allow your check-in to be as soon as possible. If your villa is ready before 3pm, we will call you.

 

Q. My flight leaves very late, and you cannot offer late check-out. What to do?

A. If there is a family that will checking in on the same day you check-out, late check-out is not possible. So we do the following:   After you check-out at 12pm, you can leave your luggage in our office and enjoy the rest of the day freely. When you are ready to go, you come back, pick up your luggage and our team will call a taxi for you to go to the Airport.               

 

 

Q. I have cancelled a reservation, and I haven’t received a refund yet. What’s going on?

A. Firstly, check if your reservation is non refundable. If it is, check where you booked. If you booked directly with us, at samuisunsets.com, please email info@samuisunsets.com requesting an update on your refund. Our team will assist. IF YOU BOOKED IN ANY OTHER 3rd party website, e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb, etc., please contact the respective customer service because for these reservations, we the business, NEVER, get paid directly by the guest. We always get paid by the website, way after the guest check-out. For these reservations, during the entire stay, the respective website is “holding” the money for the reservation, therefore, they are the only ones to process the respective refund. Contact them.

 

Q. Can I change the dates of my reservation?

A. Changing dates follows the same cancellation policies but it all depends. Check the cancellation polices and see if at least your reservation is refundable. Above all, we are very flexible and we will assess it on a case by case basis. Send us an email to info@samuisunsets.com with your request and check-in date, and we will try our best to fulfil your request.

 

Q: Do you still charge for electricity?

A: No, we no longer charge extra for electricity. Unlike when we first started, unlimited electricity usage is now included free of charge in your stay, based on feedback from our valued guests.

 

Q: Are the villas accessible for guests with disabilities or limited mobility?

A: Yes, our villas are designed for accessibility. Each villa has a private garage connected to a private elevator that services all floors, ensuring ease of access for guests with limited mobility.

 

Q: Do all your villas have sea views?

A: Yes, all of our villas boast expansive 180-degree sea views visible from large private infinity pools. Visit the individual villa pages for specific views.

Q: What amenities are provided in the villa?

A: Our villas include bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, TV and audio equipment, basic toiletries, and games. For more specific needs, please contact us prior to your stay.


Q: Does each villa have a private pool? What are the dimensions?

A: Yes, all our villas feature private infinity pools with stunning sea views. Pool sizes vary but average around 10 x 4 meters.

Q: What should I do if I have not received a refund for a canceled reservation?

A: First, verify if your reservation was non-refundable. If you booked directly with us, email info@samuisunsets.com for an update. If your booking was through a third-party website like Booking.com or Airbnb, please contact their customer service for assistance.

 

Q: Can I change the dates of my reservation?

A: Date changes are subject to the same conditions as cancellations. If your reservation is refundable, we will be flexible. Please email us your request at info@samuisunsets.com, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
